CAS117, Project 4 - 3D Shooter Railshooter
List of changes:
- Made new infinite level
- Terrain and related environment scroll with player
- Changed theme of game visuals slightly
- Wireframe background and floating objects for surreal feeling
- Changed in game UI layout slighty
- Added loading screen and transitions
- Adjusted gameplay to be railshooter
- Player now uses two guns at once
- Changed balance for guns
- Guns have infinite ammo
- Guns are all full auto
- Adjusted shotgun spread to cone with 3 rings of dispersion
- Pistol and Electro gun projectiles now affected by gravity
- All player projectiles are begin with the velocity the player moves at to balance constant movement
- The guns also have a slight random variance in fire rate and will disperse the longer they are fired
- Added camera shake to when the player fires
- Changed balance for guns
- Re-balanced enemies
- All enemies now move at speeds to accompany moving player
- All enemy projectiles are slower and destructible to balance lack of movement options
- Enemies constantly spawn at a rate dependent on player velocity
- The player constantly accelerates to a maximum speed which is lost every time the player is hit and the speed is 0 upon player death
- Player now uses two guns at once
