Patch 1.2, Windows and WebGL


Major balance changes around buffs:

  • Inventory can now hold 16 total buffs
  • Re-balanced stats of several buffs (generally lowered stack limit to 3 and multipliers from 5-10)
  • Stack limit of pierce and projectile boost is now 2

Added new placeholder sounds:

  • BGM
  • Different firing sound
  • Player hit sound
  • All sounds from More Mountains Top down Engine (will be replaced)

Added feedback for shooting, hitting boss, and getting hit.

Major adjustments on pacing of game:

  • Several starting enemies now exist at the start
  • Reworked AI of boss
    • Made passive phase at the beginning for 60 seconds
      • Boss wanders and then stalks player at a high fixed distance
    • Has a middle phase that lasts for 120 seconds
      • Boss stalks player closer and shoots and then retreats
    • A final phase after all phases have past,
      • Boss now moves much closer to player and constantly fires
  • Adjusted stats of the boss
    • Boss now has more HP (double amount)
    • Boss no longer deals DoT, now hits like the tree projectiles
    • Boss tree projectiles increased knockback

Bug-fixes and QoL:

  • Inventory navigation now works properly
  • Spacebar can be used to select buffs from selected slot
  • Inventory menu and pause menu now  no longer interfere with each other
  • Controller support partially supported, still needs fixing.
  • General increase in FPS due to lowered intensity of VFX.
